What is the Journeymen Discipleship Program?
The Journeymen Discipleship Program (JMDP) is an invitation only opportunity for a small group of young, teachable, and sacrificial men; resolved to fully commit their entire lives to Jesus. (This means their goals, dreams, careers, relationships, finances, troubles, victories, and everything else in between!) This program is currently offered to single men between the ages of 18 and 25 (Having a “girlfriend” still qualifies because you’re not married). The Journeymen are guys that demonstrate a willingness to be mentored on an intentional and radical journey into passionate—Christ-centered living, manhood, and leadership; striving to achieve their personal best by discovering and integrating their unique God-given potential throughout EVERY aspect of life in such a manner that God is most glorified in them as a result of each journeyman being comprehensively satisfied in Him.
The JMDP is a one-year commitment with a crazy affordable tuition cost of only $960.00 for the entire year program! Within our program, young men become student disciples that are challenged to do rigorous reading, writing assignments, scripture memory, practical life assignments, and significant amounts of reflective thinking. We proudly strive to graduate 100% of our student disciples by being highly selective through our application process; searching diligently for the right candidate. Our application process requires a minimum 2 hour commitment for applicants to fill out. Successful student disciples will receive an official graduate certification of completion letter that can be used for various ministry opportunities/job opportunities in the future. The AYPB Center is happy to provide churches and para-church organizations with an official letter and transcript regarding the graduates from our program.

What We'll Do.
We will spend significant time understanding who we are in God’s eyes and how we can excel in our work/career goals...and within our communities. But this is not the only focus of the year. We will spend even more time learning how to become excellent listeners and deep thinkers as we experience what it means to have a vibrant, living relationship with Jesus Christ. The Journeymen Discipleship Group is for teachable, sacrificial, and hungry young men that are willing to follow…not just lead. This is all about developing guys into the world-changing leaders God has called them to be. However, this journey is for guys who actually are humble enough to follow first. It’s for guys willing to follow after the example of what some of the greatest leaders of all times did. Their names were Peter, James, and John…you know, Jesus’s disciples? They were a part of changing the entire world! But guess what, they didn’t start as world changers, they started as disciples who followed their mentor on a journey.
