What is an AYPB Session?
Achieve Your Personal Best (AYPB) Coaching sessions are focused and confidential sessions for individuals, couples, and families. These sessions offer a safe place where one’s beliefs, thoughts, emotions, and actions are appropriately challenged with the aim of facilitating the growth of a more fully integrated, productive, healthy, and satisfied YOU. These sessions may occur in person, by phone, or through our secure high-definition video conference platform. So rather it be personal struggles, couples therapy, courtship goals/pre-martial counseling, marriage help, family adversity, relationship conflict, tragedy grief, trajectory indecision, diet/exercise/health goals, finances, chronic pain, disease and disability, hospice and terminally ill, or simply life/work/ministry goals for the future; our sessions aim to move the needle on how you understand, endure, grow, and thrive beyond where you are at today; irrespective of the circumstances. Your life coach is committed to ensuring that real and tangible progress is not only experienced but continuously expected and pursued.
Who are AYPB sessions most for?Serving a broad clientele from ages 5 years old through the end of life, our AYPB sessions are most suited for individuals who are motivated to achieve their personal best but would benefit from a trained professional that can help them discover who they are, what gifts and talents they possess, and how they might integrate them into their lives in a joyful way. Even if one's circumstance looks incredibly dire; our coaches are ready to partner with you on a journey towards a life worth both living and celebrating. There is no such thing as the "typical" client. Past sessions have included a wide variety of clientele such as: young kids, teens, athletes, adults, married/life partners, couples preparing for marriage, college students, business professionals, church leaders, the terminally ill, and senior citizens desiring to finish well. AYPB sessions are truly invaluable for everybody.

What separates The AYPB Center apart from other standard coaching, counseling, and therapy options readily available? The AYPB Center provides a unique Christ-centered approach to help individuals capture victory and satisfaction in the area of focus they have sought growth in. Serving as a spiritual confidant in a safe and non-threatening atmosphere, your coach will aim to create the right environment for you to feel vulnerable and understood. These sessions are most advantageous for individuals who are willing to grow despite the temporary discomfort involved in stretching beyond their real or perceived limitations. Your coach under this unique approach will be ferociously committed to the connection between your desired area of growth and how it is affecting you mentally, emotionally, and spiritually...and perhaps even financially. Each session works towards your immediate goals while never losing sight of your long-term development. The aim of AYPB coaching is to help you cultivate an eternity-focused mindset that will stand the test of time. Leveraging a wide skill set of coping techniques, imaginative restructuring, dynamic time management/productivity track, nutritional re-organizing, fitness training, financial counseling, spiritual and biblical guidance; your coach will work with you to discern and implement the right mixture of tools to position you for lasting and systemic change.

A Message For People In Pain:
Here's the thing, I'm not a counselor...so I approach things from a totally different perspective. I won't try to fix you. I won’t require every single detail of your past to be shared to make steps. I won't tell you what decisions you have to make. Instead, I'll focus on being RADICALLY intentional about how I listen to your story, desires, and your real or perceived limitations as you share. And then, when the time is right, and with great dependency on God, I will humbly and intentionally partner with you to figure out how we can leverage your pain--not necessarily end it. All pain is not created equal. Some pain may not end during your lifetime (this side of heaven). Yes, I believe that God still works miracles; and that is always my hope and prayer. But, if all of our efforts are focused on ending your pain; you'll not only likely to leave these sessions frustrated, but you may be more discouraged leaving than when you started. So let God be the Author of miracles...and allow me as your trusted coach to help you leverage your pain in a way where you can be satisfied with who you are in God--so you can live a life filled with joy...even if you have a serious limp for the rest of your life. P.S. I am a life coach; but more importantly, a human being with a serious limp myself. All limpers are welcome here.

Our Scheduling Recommendation.
Everyone's journey, circumstances, and needs are different. Based upon those differences, a plan will be put together to position you for success. For some, a few sessions will be needed; while others will need a longer approach to reach their desired goals. Occasionally, there may be an individual who has such a powerful first encounter that no additional sessions are needed. (This is very rare.) Typically, a minimum of 4 sessions are recommended for a client to make meaningful changes. We also offer premarital counseling as well in 4, 8, and 12 session programs!
